Telehealth in Florida, done properly
Good to know in Florida
- Florida licenses D.O.s through the Board of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Rawson holds a Florida medical license, not the out-of-state telehealth registration.
- Florida's telehealth statute (section 456.47) permits establishing care by video and permits telehealth prescribing of non-Schedule II medications when clinically appropriate; federal rules apply on top of it.
- Florida is one of the four launch states opening first, alongside Arizona, California, and Texas.
The same in every state.
